What is F1 in Schools ?
F1 in Schools Ltd is a non-profit organization established under the auspices of Formula 1 to deliver an engaging and challenging grassroots program. This initiative is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of engineers, designers, and management executives by harnessing the captivating allure of Formula 1 racing.
F1 in Schools is the only global, multi-disciplinary challenge where teams of students aged 9 to 19 utilize CAD/CAM software to collaboratively design, analyze, manufacture, test collaboratively, and race miniature compressed air-powered cars constructed from F1 model blocks.
The program fosters technical skills and promotes teamwork, creativity, and practical problem-solving, providing a comprehensive educational experience that prepares students for future careers in engineering and beyond. F1 in Schools aims to inspire and equip young minds with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the fast-paced world of Formula 1 and related industries through this innovative approach.
